Three new directors appointed to SAGDB board

The SAGDB strengthened its board of directors with three new appointments at its recent AGM. The three new appointees join the incumbent board of Non-Executive Chairman Selwyn Nathan, Non-Executive Director and SAGDB President, Johann Rupert, Non-Executive Director Dennis Bruyns and Managing Director Ken Viljoen.

One of the SAGDB's most promising girls, 17-year old Monique Ramkisson from Scottburgh Golf Club in Kwa-Zulu Natal, put in an admirable performance at the finals of the Sanlam Cancer Challenge towards the end of October.

The Riverside Golf Club in Worcester has been a keen supporter of the SAGDB programme in Boland for many years. The success of this relationship was demonstrated beyond doubt when four graduates and one current player from the SAGDB's coaching programme in the region secured the top five places at the recent Riverside Open.

About the SAGDB

The SAGDB is a non-profit organisation (with section 18A donations tax exemption status). Through its PGA-approved coaching programme, the board currently has the capacity to coach 1,500 children per week in nine areas. The SAGDB is sponsored by SAA, City Lodge and ProRange.
